At Altagra we have been organising scientific conferences and agricultural business trips to Hungary since 1999. We take all the burden of the logistics and planning hassle of the events off of our partners’ shoulders, so they can concentrate on organizing the professional activities only and take care of all the other details they need to. We believe that every event is one of a kind, as a result, we always offer tailor-made and unique planning solutions. We’re able to organise events for up to several thousands of guests

One of our main profiles is event management, including especially the organisation of national and international scientific congresses. Our main scope consists of medical and agricultural conferences, where we are at our clients’ disposal for organising and catering for anything from a few tens of participants up to to several thousand. We have organised and continue to organise training courses, meetings and conferences for many national and international scientific societies.
In addition to traditional affairs, we also offer online or hybrid events on request. As a full service agency, we have a reliable and proven network of subcontractors and a complete online service palette, including the implementation of the conference website, from registration to the collection of abstracts. At every conference we organise, we pay particular attention to identifying and involving companies in the field as potential sponsors and exhibitors.

How can we help?

We provide full service solutions from planning to execution

The planning process starts with deciding on the type of the conference (traditional, hybrid, or fully online) together with the client. We select and book the venue, platform and/or hotels, then we prepare the conference budget.

First, in the preparatory phase, we launch the website and the registration process, start to advertise the event, and find potential exhibitors and sponsors. Based on the guidance of the Scientific Organising Committee, we collect abstracts using our online tools, and we get involved in the preparation, drafting and printing of the programme plan too. 

We offer a full-scale financial service as well, including cash-flow management. We provide registration on the event venue and also technical background for the events, including the stage setup and the sound and projection system. We set up the exhibition and the poster showcase. Upon request, we organise leisure activities and shows for the participants. We place great emphasis on the quality of our catering services. After the conference, we prepare a report and the financial accounts.

Another important activity of our company is professional agricultural tourism. We welcome professional groups from abroad who would like to get to know Hungarian agriculture and learn about the achievements of certain sectors and areas. In most cases, the group is also interested in establishing fruitful professional contacts.

Hungary is rich in natural resources: fertile land of plains and hills, criss-crossed by majestic rivers. The volcanic hills on the shores of Lake Balaton and the northern hills provide an excellent microclimate for viticulture and winemaking. The thermal springs found throughout the country allow the cultivation of high-quality early vegetables.

These natural characteristics, combined with favourable economic and geographical conditions, have made it possible for agriculture and the food industry to become the country’s dominant economic sector.
