Following the success of the 1st MOVE symposium in Malaga, Spain the 2nd MOVE symposium in Belgrade, Serbia, and the 3rd MOVE symposium in Tartu, Estonia, we are excited to announce the 4th MOVE symposium which will be held on 20-22nd of October 2027 in Budapest, Hungary. For this initiative Hungarian Section of Extracellular Vesicles (HSEV) is taking the lead of the organization of the meeting with the support of European EV societies.
From the experience of the previous MOVE symposium, we expect over 300 attendees from research groups from Europe and beyond, as well as from the industry, rendering MOVE2027 one of the largest EV meetings in 2027 in Europe. Scientific program will be developed by the International Organizing Committee (IOC) consisting of representatives of European EV societies. Leading figures of the international EV research and industry will be invited, whose presence and expertise will further increase scientific value of the meeting through both lectures and discussion.
As MOVE put a strong emphasis on supporting early career scientists, MOVE2027 symposium will devote time and resources to support their attendance and representation. The symposium will emphasize critical discussions on hot topics of the entirety of the EV field and welcome abstracts without restriction on sub-topics. For more information on the symposium, please email MOVE2027@altagra.hu
MOVE 2027 will provide a unique opportunity for researchers from academia, clinical fields, and industry to connect, exchange ideas, and establish collaborations. We are also keen to host partners and sponsors from the industry, as we recognize the value of knowledge they bring to our dynamically evolving field of EV research and development. Industrial enquiries should be sent to MOVE2027@altagra.hu
We look forward to your participation!

MOVE is an informal consortium of over 20 European national societies dedicated to extracellular vesicle (EV) research.
Our mission is to foster mobility, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across Europe by connecting national EV societies and researchers. Through shared expertise, joint events, and mobility opportunities.
MOVE has already organized three high-level symposia to support early-career researchers through the MOVE European Mobility Fellowship program, attracting an ever-growing number of researchers and industrial partners from nearly every European country.
In 2025, MOVE decided to organize biannual meetings. In 2027 in Budapest, Hungary, and in 2029 in Barcelona, Spain.
