Our company, Altagra Business Services, has played a prominent role in organising scientific conferences in Hungary and in the field of professional agricultural tourism since 1999. We believe that every programme and event is unique. Correspondingly, we provide tailor-made and individually developed programmes. Organising conferences and events

Organising events, including national and international scientific congresses and conferences, is one of our company’s prime activities. Medical and agricultural conferences represent our main field, whereby we can be at your disposal with organising and servicing such events for as few as 60 or as many as 1,500 participants. We have organised further training, and meetings and conferences for many national and international scientific associations commissioned by state and private companies, as well as international organisations. As a full service agency, Altagra has a network of reliable and expert subcontractors, as well as a comprehensive online background, which includes activities from registration through the collection of abstracts to the design of the conference home page. At each conference organised by our company we pay special attention to finding companies working in the given special field and involving them as potential sponsors and exhibitors.

Altagra’s services begin with planning a conference and after we have selected and booked the location and hotels we prepare the budget of the conference. During the preparatory phase we launch the home page and the registration, advertise the event and seek out potential exhibitors and sponsors. With the guidance of the scientific organising committee and with the help of our online system we gather the abstracts, participate in compiling and framing the programme, and preparing it for printing. We provide a comprehensive financial service, including cash-flow management. At the event we arrange registration and ensure the technical implementation required by the event with stage, sound and projection systems. We set up the exhibition and the presentation of posters. If required, we can organise leisure-time activities and events for participants. We place particular emphasis on the quality of catering services. We submit a post-conference report and financial statement.

Professional agricultural tour organisation

Professional agricultural tourism is Altagra’s other significant field of activity whereby we receive professional groups from abroad whose members would like to learn about Hungarian agriculture and gain information about the results of certain sectors and agrarian branches. In the majority of cases the groups are also interested in establishing fruitful professional links.

  • Every programme is always tailor-made to correspond to the needs of a visiting group.
  • Following a presentation giving a general introduction to Hungarian agriculture, the broad-ranging professional programme tailored to the needs of the group is organised with the involvement of agrarian experts.
  • In addition, we organise the reception of the group at the airport and its transport in Hungary, and allocate an interpreter/guide.
  • We devise each programme in such a way that there would be time to introduce our guests to Hungary’s historic sights and cultural heritage. We think it is highly important for our visitors to learn about Hungarian gastronomic specialities.
  • We would like our visitors to return to their home countries having gained comprehensive knowledge and experiences in Hungary.
